Founded in 2025 by Michael Hughes, Statera was created with a clear mission: to help clients create financial balance and clarity, empowering them to pursue their goals with confidence and achieve their dreams with purpose. With a focus on retirement and income planning, investment strategies, and personalized financial guidance, Michael aims to be more than just an advisor— he strives to be lifelong partner in your financial well-being.

Michael has been active in the financial services industry since 2021, bringing a strong foundation of knowledge, integrity, and a people-first approach to every client relationship. As a fiduciary, Michael is legally and ethically committed to acting in his clients’ best interests—always. Michael Hughes

FOUNDER

Michael Hughes is the founder of Statera Wealth Management located in Shoreview, Minnesota. Michael serves both as an investment advisor representative of Gradient Advisors, LLC, and as an independent insurance agent. Michael provides a comprehensive approach that includes asset allocation and risk assessment, income planning, social security optimization, and insurance solutions.

Prior to founding Statera Wealth Management, Michael graduated from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. It was during his time in college when Michael developed a passion for personal finance, investing, and retirement planning. Michael joined the financial services industry in 2021. His experience includes coaching financial advisors and insurance agents from across the United States regarding insurance products, marketing, case design, and business development. To best serve his clients Michael chose to become a fiduciary by passing his Series 65 registration. As a fiduciary, he is required to act in the best interest of his clients.

Michael is starting his own family in the Shoreview area. He is active in his community and church. In his free time, Michael enjoys fishing and officiating both hockey and baseball at the high school and collegiate levels.
